On December 12, 2021, the government presented support worth 715 million to companies, associations and technology centers for decarbonizing industry, as part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).
Applications for these programs will open by the end of the year.
According to the Ministry of Economy, the aim is to encourage “the decarbonization of the industrial and business sector and promote a paradigm shift in the use of resources, implementing measures of the National Climate Energy Plan 2030 (PNEC 2030) and helping to accelerate the transition to a carbon-neutral economy.”
